The Allison House Inn

The Allison House Inn is itself a historic landmark. This English style Bed & Breakfast built in 1843, is one of the oldest homes in the region. The home was built for general and sixth governor of the State of Florida A.K. Allison as a residence for him and his family. Governor Allison served as governor briefly following the untimely death of Gov. John Milton, during turbulent times immediately following the Civil War.
The Ghost Trackers arrived at the Inn at 7:30 p.m. and was greeted by their gracious host Innkeepers Stuart and Eileen Johnson. After a brief tour of the home the ghost Tracker's equipment was set up and baseline data was collected. An EMF detector at the onset begin displaying a reading in the area of an antique wardrobe, upon investigating no explanation could be established. ( Later in the evening the EMF detector at the same location did not display a reading) The two adjoining rooms ( The Governors Room & The Garden Room) that were assigned to us became particularly active as the midnight hour was approaching and after a brief electrical storm. In a deep state of meditation Ghost Tracker's Connie and Karen communicated briefly with the spirit of a young woman named Sarah, ( In the Garden room) as well as gentlemen named Greenfield and Anderson . And a gentleman thought to be the former governor himself in the hallway and staircase area outside the rooms. While conducting research attempting to validate the above-mentioned names, it was learned that the governor had a daughter named Sarah. There was an extended family member named "Granville". Also the 1890 census showed there was 5 families named Anderson that lived in the area.
Orbs were captured on video using Sony video cameras with super night shot, with a Sony Cyper shot camera and with a Cannon digital camera. At 2:25 a.m. while both video cameras were sitting on tripods and the LCD screens were being monitored, a drop in temperature was noted from a digital thermometer sitting on a bed side table. Within seconds of this an EMF detector began beeping and displaying readings from 4-9 that lasted for several seconds. ( This was also captured on video and took place in the Governor's Room. ) Orbs were also captured on video outside this room and nearby staircase.
Conclusion:
We believe that this B&B meets all criteria based upon our experiences and knowledge of the paranormal that it is an authentic "haunted house".
