Observations and Conclusions:

Goodwood was built in 1840 for Bryan Croom one of Florida's most wealthiest citizens, This incredible lovely antebellum house is not only rich in history it contains many relics and furnishing from a by-gone era, it also is host to a wealth of residual memories and emotions from the many families that lived here and called it home. Big Bend Ghost Trackers arrived on the site at the appointed hour in the mist of a blinding electrical and thunderstorm. After introductions and familiarizing ourselves with each room the nights activities begin with BBGT members Ron and Lacey collecting base line data. With infarred video cameras in place and rolling the nights investigation begin. A series of random photos were taken by BBGT members and Betty and Valynda in a state of mediation channeled in on the energies of former now passed - over residents of the home. A sudden drop in temperture was experienced in an upstairs bedroom and a feeing of being watched by unseen eyes were experienced in the attic area and a sudden cold shiver down the spine was felt. As we roamed from room to room in your minds eye one could see elegant ladies from the old south sipping mint juplips and hear the sounds of gentlemen in frock coats discussing political topics of the day and perhaps the cost of an impending war that that will forever change a way of life in the south. As timed ticked by and the investigation drawed to a close we discussed our findings and perceptions with staff. BBGT members Valynda and Betty wereable to validate names of former residents that came through while channeling .

Our conclusion : We beleive the home is experiencing residual memories and emotions from former residents and possibly a lingering presence .Perhaps they loved their home so much in there life time that this is the place they have choosen to return to in the after-life.
