Observations and Conclusions: Based on reports from the homeowner, preliminary interviews, and the known history of the house, BBGT investigated a private home in Tallahassee, Florida at the request of the homeowner.
The team arrived at the residence at approximately 8:30pm and Ghost Trackers Jim, Chris and Michelle began taking baseline EMF readings and temperature scans both inside and outside the home. At this time no unusual EMF or abnormal temperatures were noted. Three infrared video cameras were set up, one in the living room facing the hallway where some activity had been noted by the homeowner, and two in the garage area where the bulk of the activity had been felt and observed. The entire team then did a protection protocol and began the investigation. Jim and Chris were stationed in the living room and hallway area, Michele worked as a "roving investigator", Megan Vylanda and Betty stationed in the garage. Team Psychic-Medium, Connie and the home owner sit privately in a back room in meditation.
During the course of the investigation, temperature and EMF scans done in all rooms of the home, and in the garage, revealed no abnormal changes deviating from baseline readings until approximately 10:02pm. At that time a notable temperature drop occurred in the living room/hallway area from 82.2oF to 72.0oF. At approximately the same time, Jim noted a 5.0 mg reading in the 1st bedroom in the hallway (an unused bedroom) where all previous readings had been less than 2.0mg. This incident was documented both by EMF scans, Temperature scans, and on video cam. Digital photographs taken at the time revealed an orb in the living room area. Less than a minute later the temperature returned to 82.0oF. Activity was then noted in the garage when Michele called for the team to come and take photographs. An audible knocking sound on the outside wall of the garage was captured on EVP and video sound tracks. Orbs were also captured on video cam in the garage at this time. Psychic-Medium Connie was sent into the garage to sense any psychic or spiritual activity and many photographs were taken. Several photos revealed orbs which were also captured simultaneously on videotape.
One other curious incident also occurred outside the home. At different times, Ghosttrackers Megan and Valynda both noted a rotting flesh smell coming from near the driveway. An extensive search was performed of the yard, the driveway, and the culvert and drainage ditch for several hundred feet either side of the yard for a possible dead animal. None was found.
Psychic Connie's observations were submitted after the completion of the investigation and revealed some of the reasons for the burst of activity which occurred.
It should be noted that Connie was not told anything of the history of the home or it's owner prior to this investigation. Connie first picked up on the spirit of a small boy who gave the name Timmy. Timmy had attached himself to the homeowner because of her motherly instincts. Connie perceived that this child was earthbound and confused and sent the child to the light.
An aunt of the homeowner was also sensed, who evidently just "dropped in" to say hello. Connie told the homeowner the humorous story of a cake that was decorated for a baby shower and taken to a bridal shower instead. The homeowner validated this story as true.
During the burst of activity in the garage Connie felt the presence of a young man named Richard who had apparently committed suicide there in 1973 by drug overdose. This young man was still somewhat angry and confused. Connie asked for spiritual help and the young man was sent to receive his help.
At this time, only the suicide and the aunt have been validated. The original homeowner is currently being researched for validation.
Conclusions: It was concluded by the team after debrief and compilation of photographic and recorded data evidence which was correlated to what psychic and spiritual information which was given in a separate debriefing with Connnie that this residence was definitely experiencing paranormal activity and during the investigation at least four spiritual presences were evidenced.
It was also concluded that none of these spiritual presences either posed a threat to, nor intended any harm to the current owner. The spirits simply needed help and were making themselves known. The one spirit who currently remains, seems to be a protector. We sure wouldn't want to be the unlucky prowler or burglar who tries to cause harm at the home with that kind of protection around! More importantly, the homeowner can now rest a lot easier knowing who these presences were and why they were there. She is no longer frightened and has no reason to be. The team will follow up periodically to ensure this is still the case.
