At the request of the home owners BBGT arrived at the elegant and expansive
lake house as the moon was peeking from behind the clouds in the darken sky.
With much anticipation for the nights investigation after hearing stories of
suicides, horrific accidental deaths, unexplained noises going bump in the night,
voices from disembodied persons, unexplained faces in the window and the home owner’s inability to continue to live in the home.
The residents had reported to BBGT they were having a variety of ghostly activity that had caused them to finalize arrangements to move from this incredible but strange home. The atmosphere was heavy with feeling of dread.
From the onset upon entering this expansive home where rooms seem to be the size
of small bungalows, windows abound, and the more we looked the more rooms we found….the thought “Winchester House” had came into mind. As BBGT team Betty member descended the 2 floors of stairs to the 3000 square foot darken basement and slightly opened the door she was immediately taken back by what she saw and screamed for the other team members ……..2 red eyes starred back at her as she peeked inside the door…..later with all team members present and holding a blessed
crucifix cross (that has always been included in the BBGT toolbox but only have had to bring out of this occasion.) team members went to great lengths to logically justify what could have mimicked the red eyes but NO “earthly” explanations were
available. This set the stage for the night’s investigation.
With base line data completed by all team members and equipment in place to include video cameras in 2 basement locations the night’s investigation had begin.
The feelings of uneasiness, suffocation, heaviness in the chest, undecipherable smells,
knockings on the wall in the “solitude” room heard by team members Betty & Mel.
The overwhelming feeling of being watched by unseen persons. BBGT team member Lisa was a witness to a face in the sliding glass exit doors in the sitting room and smelling the sick smell of blood in the room unknown to her where a suicide had occurred.
The EMF meter spiked sporadically during the night’s investigation, while a video camera recorded orbs in the basement. A remarkable influx in hot and cold temperatures recorded on the thermo scanner throughout the night’s investigation.
Conclusion: The house is 100% experiencing a haunting by evidence collected and documented; most likely several sprits that have lived and died unnatural and untimely deaths within its walls and grounds. The grounds are associated with the
Miccosukee Indian tribe that lived hundreds of years ago on these exact grounds based upon a storehouse of ancient Indian artifacts collected by the homeowners on the grounds.
Included in these finds is an amulet that upon research by an anthropologist is thought to be one wore by a tribal chief during his burial ceremony to keep his spirit alive as a protector of the land .
