The Mission rich in local history goes back to the Spanish Conquistadors, this ancient historical site boasts to have 2 ghosts on its premises. The story goes that a Spanish Soldier became disillusioned with his wife and murdered her, disposing of her body in a well on the site. For centuries the figure of a woman has been seen near the site of the old well, and a Spanish Soldier has been seen rambling among the ruins of the old fort. It is also reported that a French family that lived on the property in the early 1900's had a son that hanged himself in the attic of there home over an unhappy love affair, and the family besieged by visits from his ghost abruptly left the property and moved back to France.
