The Montgomery House

Sam Montgomery, lumberman-merchant, built the Montgomery House in 1884 for a family dwelling. The house served as home to multi-generations of Montgomery's until the early 1990's. A Montgomery family tragedy took place at the home more then 50 years ago, some say it was murder, others say it was suicide. But all agree the house was never the same, it seemed to have developed an ominous atmosphere. The present homeowner reports no paranormal activity at this time.
