Hi, my name is Christine McVicker. I am a married mother of two girls, a professional psychic medium and paranormal investigator. I have always been interested in the paranormal and have acquired a wealth of knowledge on everything from demonology, spirit communication, magic, to hauntings of all kinds. As I began to develop my gifts more I began to want to get more actively involved in paranormal research so I became a paranormal investigator. I have always been aware of spirits but it wasn't’ until later in life I decided I wanted to actively attempt to communicate with them, before my encounters had been more or less random.
I have the ability to communicate with both spirits who have crossed over and those who have remained earthbound. I joined BBGT because I desired a paranormal group that both looked for scientific evidence and most importantly one that helps both people struggling with hauntings and spirits who need help crossing over or moving on. From a very early age I have always had an interest in the paranormal. I have had several different ghost experiences during my lifetime. My most recent encounter was with my grandmother, who was seen sitting on the foot of the bed the night that she passed away. I was stationed in Kansas and my grandmother was in Florida at that time. The personal experience is what lead me to educate myself on the paranormal and to get involved with a local ghost hunting group.
I joined The Big Bend Ghost Trackers in October of 2005 I began getting involved with the annual Haunted History Walking Tour in Monticello, Florida and soon afterwards became a full member of BBGT. My motivation in joining the group was I wanted to meet other people who have shared similar experiences and to try and see if I can better understand what else may be out there.
I bring many different attributes to the group, including the motivation and dedication needed to excel in the ghost hunting field, and I am professionally driven in all that I do.

Hi, my name is Donna Catalano. I am known by many as "Dcat." Professionally, I am a Registered Nurse. Leisurely, I am a Paranormal Enthusiast. I have always been interested in the Paranormal since I was a young girl. Everything from UFO's, Big Foot, to the Bermuda Triangle, and of course, Ghosts. I read everything I could get my hands on. I became even more interested when at the age of 9 yrs old, my Grandfather was struck by lightening in the Summer of 1968, and began to develop the gift of Psychic Healing. For several years, on a weekly basis, I watched as people came to our home to marvel at this unexplained gift that my Grandfather now possessed. Everyone from reporters, newspapers, magazines, and authors to State and Government Officials. Just recently, my Mother and I have started sifting through all the documentation, and have started to write the first of two planned books, about my Grandfather, his work and life.
I joined Big Bend Ghost Trackers because I wanted to meet people with the same interests and beliefs in the Paranormal World as my own. I want to expand my knowledge and skills, and help others expand theirs. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction and security, knowing that there is life on the other side. It allows me to prepare myself for the realization that death will eventually come, but it won't be the end. It has also helped me to help my dying patients to pass more peacefully, knowing that there is some one waiting for them on the other side.
Besides doing Investigations, I enjoy crocheting, boating, fishing, gardening, and spending time with my Family.

My name is Betty Davis. I am a 54 year old wife, mother and grandmother. I grew up and was educated in small town America.
Professionally I work in the field of Social Services . Passionately I am a Ghost Hunter. I seek out, research and investigate reported haunted locations. I also teach classes on the paranormal at area colleges. I have investigated locations reported to have paranormal activity every place from an 1800’s brothel house to a haunted house of a former United States President.
I have had supernatural experiences most of my life beginning as a young child. While often visiting my maternal grandmother I would hear the stories of my adult uncles as well as my grandmother and own mother talk about the “ladies” in the sewing room were “talking up a breeze” last night. The “ladies” however were not seen but heard OFTEN! I myself would from time to time see a full-bodied apparition of a little boy in navy blue knee pants, wearing a jacket with three (3) rows of bright gold colored buttons. His chubby checks were pink from perhaps sun or windburn. I also realized I had an ability to communicate with him.
As an adult I became a serious student of the paranormal. I through the years had developed a keen sense of psychic ability. I founded Big Bend Ghost Trackers in 2000 in North West Florida. Developed as a forum for others who have had paranormal encounters and psychic abilities to come together to share experiences in an environment where one would not be thought of as “touched in the head” as was a saying in the old South. The group has become very successful and is an active ongoing group who’s key mission is to assist others who are having paranormal occurrences in there homes or businesses and educate them, counsel ,and in some cases attempt to rid them of these occurrences.
On a personal level Ghost Hunting and Spirit Communication affords me the knowledge to know that death is not the end .When our earthly bodies are buried deep into the recesses of the earth our spirits continue on in the earthly plain. My knowledge, experiences and abilities have left me assured that death is not the end. The veil to this side and the other side are very near and with very little assistance we all have the abilities to access it. We all can have One last Time.

I've always had an interest in the paranormal. I am also one of the founding members of BBGT joining in 2000 at the beginning.
As with most other people that have a keen interest in the paranormal I as well have had paranormal encounters sporadically most of my life. I have a need on a personal level to assure myself that there is something else after death and one can connect in the after life to love ones that are left behind.
I think I basically come by the need to know, what, why , where and when on the after-life considering that I have a sister who studies UFOs and would love to prove, similarly to BBGT , that we are not the only beings in the universe. I don't know about aliens, but I'd have to agree that we certainly aren't alone.
Through numerous experiences and hearing those of others, I have come to believe that there must be another dimension or level of existence...One in which those who have passed continue to dwell. Realizing that has left me with a great sense of peace. My goal now is to prove and provide that to others through investigations, paranormal classes, and counseling with others who are having paranormal experiences they do not understand and are afraid of.
I professionally am a school teacher and teach in the rewarding field of Special Education.
I am in a committed long term relationship and we have one son.
