Observations and Conclusions:
At the request of the curator and staff BBGT was asked to investigate possible paranormal activity at this 200-year-old plantation site.
Arriving as the moon was beginning to shine high in the darken night sky. After a round of introductions and a tour of the property, which included a 200-year-old working barn, the night’s investigation began.
With Ron, and Scott taken baseline data, Jamey wandering room to room to get a “feel” of the ancient old home filled with it’s many memories. Valynda, Betty and Lacey went about sitting up video equipment. Valynda stationed herself in an upstairs bedroom and begin meditating and after a brief period begin sensing the presence of a kindly older woman. Lacey and Betty stationed themselves in an attic room that held many of the former long ago cross-over home owners possessions. One item particular was a some what unusual chair that Betty sensed the presence of a dignified yet somewhat domineering gentlemen . Scott, Jamey and Ron all being stationed in downstairs rooms got a significant drop in temperature in one small room, this room later was discovered to have been the room of the last ‘lady of the house”.
As the hours passed and the nights investigation came to a close we all walk away from this lovely old home with us we carried away residual memories of a very lovely lady that cared so deeply about this gracious spot on earth that she has chosen from time to time visit it in the after-life.
