As the evening descends ...and the shadows of the night emerge you will embark upon a most unusual adventure. Venture into the unknown as you discover the haunted history of historic Monticello.
Journey with us through downtown Monticello as we tell tales of bygone days. Find out about the eccentric Dr. Palmer and his controversial 666 elixir. Hear the story of the jilted bride and the forgotten heroes of Monticello. Perhaps you will encounter the ghostly, Dr. Palmer for yourself as he still makes his midnight rounds. You may even possibly catch a glimpse of the mysterious lady in pink gazing down from her window, or hear the ghostly moans from the old jail. Don’t forget to bring your camera; you never know what you will capture! Orbs, ectoplasm and even apparitions have been caught on film by tour goers.
If you are feeling extremely adventurous you can join us for the 75 minute cemetery tour and ghost hunt at Roseland Cemetery. Where Paranormal Investigators Big Bend Ghost Trackers will show you how to use real ghost hunting equipment and lead you on a ghost hunt through the old haunted cemetery.
